Brass Double Action Sprayers

The traditional brass double action sprayer - still popular after 75 years!

 The original SOLO "One Man Sprayer" was first produced in 1925 and we continue to manufacture it today as the model 27.

The double action sprayers are still our most powerful sprayers and are ideal for spraying tall fruit trees with winter tar wash, creosoting fencing and sheds as well as the application of pesticides and insecticides. To use just drop the hose into the bucket of spray liquid and operate the spray like a bicycle pump.

A versatile sprayer available in two sizes. Designed for economical and trouble free spraying, the container and pump are made of tough, chemical resistant plastic, light, unbreakable and non-corrosive. The pressure is built up by an efficient air pump. The tank capacity provides ample air space - about 50% of the liquid capacity, to assure continuous spraying at a good pressure without re-pumping.

Special Features:

  • Funnel Top - The spraying liquid can be poured quickly and easily from any container.
  • Pressure gauge and safety valve - Operates no matter what the liquid level or internal pressure
  • Double grip pump handle - Protection for hands and makes it easy to pressurise the container with the powerful pump.

The maximum working pressure for both models is 45 psi and each comes with 1.3 m delivery hose with instant on/off trigger control valve. 45 cm angled extension lance with adjustable nozzle.

 Solo "P" Pressure Sprayers

Strong, lightweight and economical, these sprayers are available in 6, 8 and 10 litre sizes. The container and pump are made entirely of plastic material to resist the corrosive effects of chemicals.

Supplied complete with 1.2 m hose, heavy duty all brass on/off trigger control unit, 45 cm brass spray lance, adjustable nozzle, brass pressure release valve and shoulder strap.
